Today Apple released the iOS 8.1.2 update for the iPhone and iPad to fix some of the problems, including the problem of buying ringtones from iTunes Gift Store. You can download the update directly from the device Settings> General> Software Update, or through one of the direct links below.
Jailbreak for iOS 8.1.2 is not yet clear if it was possible or not, but I expect that 90% is possible because the developer Djilbraik Chinese TaiG said in the past that Djilbraik for this update is ready and has continued their vulnerability to jailbreak.
